Reykjavik International Games in athletics will take place on Sunday, February 3 in Laugardalshöll. The meeting will start at 1 p.m. and finish at 3 p.m. and will be broadcasted live on RÚV.
RIG is one of sixteen European Athletics indoor permit meetings in 2019 so this is your chance to see top athletes compete up close and personal.
Iceland vs. USA

The Olympian Aníta Hinriksdóttir will take on Claire Mooney and Olga Kosicenchenko in 800 meters. Youth European Champion and Olympic gold medalist Guðbjörg Jóna Bjarnadóttir and Icelandic record holder Hlynur Andrésson will compete. And for the first time sprinters from the United States will compete in 4×200 relays against the Icelandic relay team, both men and women. Full list of athletes will be revealed soon.
